Diane has extensive knowledge in a wide range of legal areas having worked for Richmond Law in a variety of roles since 1986. Diane specialises in subdivisions, boundary adjustments, other legal issues with land development, residential and commercial conveyancing as well as trusts.

In 1996 Diane completed her NZ Law Society Legal Executive certificate, qualifying as a Registered Legal Executive and she became a Fellow of the NZ Institute of Legal Executives in 2004. She is one of only three local Legal Executives who have obtained a Diploma in Legal Executive studies from Waikato University, which she achieved in 2006. Diane completed the NZ Society of Conveyancers qualification in 2023 and is now a Registered Conveyancer. Diane serves on the Nelson Branch of the NZ Institute of Legal Executives.

Diane is an active member of the Motueka Young Eagles and Motueka Aero Club, and she also assists with administration for Nelson Land Search and Rescue. Diane has previously been involved with St John Youth and a number of other community organisations.
